The GOP is absolutely disgusting. Mitt Romney (R-UT) just released his statement on the Mueller Report. Even though President Trump committed no crime, Romney is joining Democrats and condemning Trump anyway. Doing his best impression of a deluded Democrat, Romney declares that he was “appalled” and “sickened” over Trump’s actions. Privately, Romney is also reportedly talking to Democrats about impeaching the President.
The Mueller investigation never should have been allowed to start. There was never any collusion. Trump knew it, and the Deep State knew it. This was nothing but a coup d’etat attempting to overthrow Donald Trump.
Trump fought back with everything he had. Any other Republican would have crumbled under the pressure.
Since there never was any collusion, the Left is trying to take Trump down because he fought back. They’re calling it “obstruction.” One of the reasons that Robert Mueller claims he couldn’t charge Trump with obstruction was that there was no underlying crime to conceal.
The whole basis for the investigation was a fraud. It isn’t possible to obstruct an unjust investigation.
And yet, Romney is now working with Democrats to take Trump down anyway!
Mueller’s report outlined that while he was not recommending criminal charges against Trump, Congress could decide differently. First of all, it isn't a prosecutor's job to "exonerate" a suspect. That is left up to a jury. But Mueller's team doesn't seem to care. They made their report to help Congressional Democrats take down the President instead. Since Trump couldn't be destroyed through a criminal investigation, Mueller's hoping that Democrats use their impeachment powers to remove him instead.
"The conclusion that Congress may apply obstruction laws to the President's corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with out constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law."
Here, Mueller admits that Trump didn't break the law, but hopes that Congress impeaches him anyway.
The entire Mueller investigation, as we feared, as a political hit job designed to help Democrats take out a duly-elected President. Now, the Left is seizing on this and demanding immediate impeachment hearings.
Radical Democrat Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Rashida Tlaib just introduced a formal impeachment resolution against Trump. Yesterday, Senator Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren became the first Democrat Presidential candidate to call for Trump to be removed from office for not breaking the law.
Democrat leaders of House Committees are now openly promising to hold impeachment hearings and even the party’s leadership is starting to cave. Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) has, for months, said that impeachment 'wasn't worth it.' He's now completely changed his tune, calling for Congress to keep "everything on the table."
The Left is going all in. They are so hopelessly deluded and have actually started believing their own lies. But now they have Republicans like Mitt Romney helping them take Trump down...
The House and Senate Republicans aren't interested in getting to the bottom of the Obama administration's crimes. They don't want to hold criminals like James Comey and Andrew McCabe accountable for their crimes and lying to Congress. They're only interested in stopping Trump.
President Trump is demanding that Congress investigate Obama's traitorous investigators, but the GOP and Democrats are still only interested in destroying him.
The future of the country will be decided over the next couple of days. Will Congress restore this Republic and take out the Deep State criminals responsible for this failed coup against Trump? Or will Republicans and Democrats finish the job an take Trump out?
History books will write about what you do right now. Will you hold these cowards accountable? Or will you allow the Establishment to keep this witch hunt going?
