This is Breaking News: The GOP Establishment has blocked a vote on border wall funding and is moving forward with Rep. Will Hurd's plan to redistribute the wall funding as foreign aid to Mexico and Central America instead!
Yesterday, the Republican leadership made their move and released two announcements.
1) Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell will not even bring the 5 billion border wall bill up for a vote.
2) Congressional appropriators reached a deal to instead send 10.6 billion in foreign aid to Central America and Mexico, with almost half of that going exclusively to Mexico.
It is not a coincidence that the Mexico foreign aid package is the same amount as the President's border wall request. This is the establishment thumbing their noses at the President.
I warned you that this was coming. Republican traitors are refusing to approve the border wall project and want to give the funding to Mexico and other Central American countries instead!
Don't let the GOP get away with this! Send your instant and urgent hardcopy letter to Congress right now and FORCE them to kill this new Central American foreign aid package and fully fund the border wall instead!
They waited until the last minute to release their plan. The spending bill deadline is just 48 hours away.
If you do nothing, then the GOP will succeed not only in blocking the border wall from ever being built, but also redirecting that funding to Central American countries instead.
We saw what Mexico does with our foreign aid. Not only did the migrant caravan get a police escort through the country, but Mexican states gave their US-provided food aid to the caravan as well.
The GOP's plan is to keep the border wide open and give these countries the funding they need to shepherd the caravans through to the US border as fast as possible!
Under the new proposal, taxpayer funding would go to build a border wall in southern Mexico, but Trump's project would be outlawed instead.
This is the ultimate betrayal. But there is still time to stop this!
These GOP cowards are running for the exits and trying to use their last days in power to block the border wall from ever being built.
And in 48 days, it will be over. That is the deadline for Congress to pass a new spending bill.
Either the border wall will be funded, or all of the funding will be redirected as Mexican foreign aid.
The GOP leadership just told the President that they will not allow a vote on a clean border wall bill. Instead of funding our own border security, Congress is going to approve twice as much additional foreign aid to Mexico and Central America.
The deadline is this Friday. If the GOP's surrender plan isn't stopped, they are going to block the border wall from ever being built.
We are running out of time!
