Out of nowhere, Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS) -- shown above -- became the 41st Senator yesterday to sign on as a sponsor or co-sponsor of the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act, kick starting a new push to get the legislation onto Trump's desk.

The House of Representatives has already passed its own version of concealed carry legislation. Mitch McConnell had been blocking the Senate's version from moving forward. The result? Not a single Senator had joined the legislation since last November. That is, until yesterday...

For law abiding gun owners with concealed carry permits," Hyde-Smith explained in a statement, "this legislation would affirm their ability to exercise their Second Amendment rights in other states with right-to-carry laws. This is sensible legislation that recognizes states' authority to issue firearms licenses and permits, while supporting the rights of gun owners."

The bill would grant nationwide reciprocity to anyone with a valid concealed carry permit.

McConnell and Ryan have tried their hardest to kill this bill, but now there is a new push to get it onto Pres. Trump's desk!

Fight for your rights! Send your instant message to Congress and DEMAND that they send the concealed carry reciprocity legislation to Trump's desk!!

I currently have two concealed carry permits. One issued by my home state of Colorado and another non-resident permit issued by Utah.

Currently, my Colorado permit allows me to carry a concealed firearm in 35 states (including Colorado). These are states that have entered into reciprocity agreements with Colorado. But my Utah permit adds two more states -- Washington and Nevada -- to the list.

I have two states' concealed carry permits and I still am not legally allowed to exercise my right to bear arms in 13 states and the District of Columbia.

This new concealed carry reciprocity bill would give nationwide reciprocity to millions of concealed carry permit holders.

States like California, New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maryland, Hawaii, and Illinois would no longer be allowed to ban out of state visitors from exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. If you have a concealed carry permit issued by one state, it would be valid in ALL states.

People would still have to obey all local and state self defense laws, but these anti-gun states would not be able to block visitors from carrying.

This is the biggest civil rights legislation of my lifetime. It would finally restore the 2nd Amendment to how the Founders intended.

For far too long, these anti-gun states have been allowed to treat the 2nd Amendment as a 2nd class right.

No more...

Fight for your rights! Send your instant message to Congress and DEMAND that they send the concealed carry reciprocity legislation to Trump's desk!!

The momentum is building again. There are at least ten Democrat Senators up for re-election in states Trump won in 2016. Many of them, Trump won by 10+ percentage points.

They include Democrat Senators from West Virginia, Indiana, North Dakota, Missouri, Ohio, and Montana.

We have been demanding that the GOP force the Left's vulnerable Congressmen and Senators to go on record. Either they support the 2nd Amendment and make concealed carry reciprocity the law of the land, or they go into November with a record of voting against the right to bear arms...

For the past year, the GOP seemed content with letting these vulnerable Democrats avoid this hard vote.

Now we've learned that the establishment is starting to cave. We have a chance -- right now -- to restore the right to bear arms for all law-abiding Americans, including those living behind the gun control iron curtain in states like New York and California.

But the only way Concealed Carry Reciprocity gets to Trump's desk is if YOU demand it!

Fight for your rights! Send your instant message to Congress and DEMAND that they send the concealed carry reciprocity legislation to Trump's desk!!

Sincerely,
