If you oppose a Black leftist politician, you are a racist.

If you reject a female Democratic politician, you are a sexist.

If you vote against a gay or lesbian candidate, you are a bigot.

And if you call-out a 17-year-old gun control activist who headlined a major gun control rally, well, you must hate children.

That is the Left’s only play. If you disagree with what someone says, then you clearly must hate them for their race/gender/sexual orientation. But up until recently, age wasn’t really included in the Left’s shame strategies.

Enter David Hogg. A student at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, Hogg emerged as one of the leading student voices in the gun control movement after last months horrible shooting.

Immediately, he was declared off-limits. The powers-that-be in the media decided that because he was a victim, and because he was underage, all criticism of him was anathema. They didn’t stop him when he blatantly made up “facts” on the air during interviews. As a survivor, he deserved the right to speak.

CNN’s own Brian Stelter recently admitted that he allowed David Hogg onto television to spew lies without challenging him, because he was a child victim.

“There were a few times I wanted to jump in and say, ‘Let’s correct that fact.’ And at one of the times I did and other times I did not. There’s always that balance, how many times you’re going to interrupt,” Stelter said.

The fact of the matter is that David Hogg is not an expert in firearms. He was forced to hide in a closet at his school during a mass shooting. That must have been a horrible experience. I hope that no one has to go through something like that ever again. But victimhood does not a policy expert make…

All of a sudden, Hogg was the lead voice in a movement to not only repeal the 2nd Amendment, but to disarm Americans of their lawfully owned firearms.

But every attempt to refute what Hogg was spewing was labeled as “bullying.” He was an underage mass shooting survivor. How dare anyone try to stop his push for disarmament? And on the surface, he was pushing all the right ‘come together’ messaging.

Even now, that tweet is still pinned to the top of Hogg’s Twitter profile. How can you attack someone who is so darn respectful?

It didn’t take long for this to devolve into the hateful rhetoric we’ve seen from so many in the gun control movement.

Towards the end of March, there was a moment where Hogg switched from just parroting the Moms Demand Action focus group-tested talking points to actually speaking for himself. And it was terrifying. During an interview with The Outline:

“They’re pathetic fuckers that want to keep killing our children,” said Hogg, referring to the NRA. “They could have blood from children splattered all over their faces and they wouldn’t take action, because they all still see those dollar signs.”

“It’s like when your old-ass parents [say], ‘I don’t know how to send an iMessage,’ and you’re just like, ‘Give me the fucking phone’ and you take it and you’re like, ‘OK, let me handle it,’ and you get it done in one second,” Hogg said. “Sadly, that’s what we have to do with our government because our parents don’t know how to use a fucking democracy, so we have to.

Approximately 80% of the NRA’s revenue comes from memberships and private donations. The NRA posted its biggest fundraising and membership drive month in years after the Parkland shooting and here is David “WE MUST WORK TOGETHER” Hogg calling us — the now-6 million members of the NRA — child killers. Not only that, but American gun owners apparently “want to keep killing our children.”

The next paragraph, however, is even more chilling. We don’t know how to use a “fucking democracy,” so Hogg will have to step in and teach us.

The Bill of Rights was written to clarify that certain human rights are so basic, so undeniable, that they should be immune from popular referendum. The 2nd Amendment something that gets democratically voted on (50%+1). The Constitution is the hardest thing to change in our country. In order to change or abolish the 2nd Amendment, you would need the votes of two thirds of the House and the Senate and then two-thirds of the state legislatures. Or, you could go the route of the Constitutional Convention and get 3/4 of the state legislatures to ratify an amendment.

But still, David Hogg expects to be able to democratically vote our rights away.

Hogg’s statements were so vile that YouTube decided to take the video down for “bullying and harassment.” Do you know how hard it is to get YouTube to take down liberal political videos???

This week, Hogg told TMZ that he was having difficulty getting into many of California’s state schools, even though he has become the poster child of the youth gun control movement..

“At this point, we’re already changing the world,” Hogg, a senior at Stoneman Douglas High School, told TMZ. “If colleges want to support us in that, great, if they don’t, it doesn’t matter, we’re still going to change the world.”

Fox News Host Laura Ingraham weighed in by sharing an article about Hogg’s whining.

Immediately, Hogg began to organize a boycott of Ingraham’s show’s advertisers.

Why? Because he’s a ‘kid.’ He can give it, but can’t take it. As a victim, he’s allowed to call NRA members “fuckers” and child killers, but the minute someone accuses him of whining to a gossip outlet, that crosses the line.

As a result of Hogg’s social media boycott, eight of Ingraham’s advertisers have pulled out from running commercials on her show. Her tweet even said that it is perfectly understandable for Hogg to be denied given the acceptance rates in the UC system for out-of-state applicants. But because she used the word “whine,” Hogg and his allies believe she deserves to be silenced.

Which is it, David? Are you a revolutionary trying to change the world? Or are you a child who deserves to be free from criticism?

Do you want a seat at the adult table to talk about Constitutional rights and public policy? Or are you a child who should be off-limits?

You can’t have it both ways.

For God’s sake, you told your college acceptance and rejection news to TMZ and they published it. You gave a headlining speech at a major gun control rally in Washington DC that was televised worldwide. You have been an inescapable presence on cable news ever since the Parkland shooting.

You’re a public figure. You don’t get to call the 6 million members of the NRA “fuckers” who “want to keep killing our children” and then hide behind your age when someone (rightly) calls you a whiner for complaining about college admissions to TMZ.

For far too long, Conservatives let twerps like David Hogg speak their mind because he was a kid and a school shooting survivor. How do you criticize someone who hid in a closet during a school shooting? But the minute he became a gun control activist, the minute he started vilifying millions of American gun owners, he became fair game.

And all Conservatives must resist this latest gun control push.
