If you were watching any of the floor speeches in the lead up to the government shutdown, you would have heard Crying Chuck Schumer get to the lectern and tell the whole world that he had offered to fund Trump's border wall in exchange for amnesty. But now that the government shutdown has ended, Schumer has withdrawn that offer.
Why? Well, he is already going to get what he wants. Mitch McConnell has already promised him a clean vote on the amnesty legislation. Why would he give in on a border wall if he knows the GOP leadership won't add it to the bill?
It looked like Schumer had caved without getting anything in return but it is clear that he and the GOP establishment are maneuvering to pass an amnesty bill without any of President Trump's border security demands.
President Trump had something to say about this.
"Cryin' Chuck Schumer full understands, especially after his humiliating defeat, that if there is no Wall, there is no DACA."
The GOP leadership is defying the President and moving forward with their clean amnesty bill anyway. They must be stopped!
President Trump didn't have a lot of demands. He demanded full funding for his border wall, an end to sanctuary cities, passage of Kate's Law to make sure illegal alien repeat offenders go to prison, and an end to the visa lottery and chain migration programs.
Schumer and his establishment allies are refusing to give the President any of this. They want a clean amnesty. That is what McConnell promised and that is what they expect.
What they don't expect is for you to rise up and stop them. They don't expect to be blocked in their tracks.
The President has been clear. Clean amnesty is unacceptable. He will not sign a clean amnesty bill if it reaches his desk.
But both parties are intent on sending one to his desk anyway. They are trying to force Trump to back down and surrender on his immigration promises.
No. Wait, let me think about this… NO!
Don't let these cowards surrender like this. They're doing this behind closed doors for a reason. They're hoping — praying — that you won't notice or fight back. The only way the GOP gets away with this is if Conservatives are caught flat-footed.
You need to fight back!
