With the resignation of Sebastian Gorka this past Friday, there are no longer any conservatives left in Donald Trump's orbit. The President is still moving forward with his conservative agenda, but the RINOs and yes, Democrats in the West Wing now exclusively have his ear.
With Conservatives like Bannon and Gorka gone, the holdovers from the Obama administration have been emboldened to continue undermining the President's America First agenda.
That is why liberals leftover in the State Department are moving forward with their plans to attend the UN's gun control conference. Three years ago, the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty entered into force. Obama had John Kerry sign the treaty, even though Congress refused to ratify it. The result is that international gun control is now going into effect worldwide. Yes, that includes the United States. Along with regulating arms imports and exports, the treaty calls for national gun registries in signatory countries.
The UN Arms Trade Treaty conference will begin on September 11. For five days, globalists will debate ways to disarm people across the globe. We have confirmed that Obama holdovers are already on site in Geneva preparing for the US delegation's arrival. That's right. They're still planning on attending the conference and helping the UN implement its gun control agenda.
This is just one of the ways that the Obama administration used the United Nations to implement the President's agenda without Congress.
On September 11, the UN will hold its gun control conference. Attendees will debate new disarmament methods and then plot how to implement the United Nations' gun control regime across the globe (including in the United States). A year and a half ago, the UN hit a milestone and got 50 countries to ratify the anti-gun treaty. That gives the UN the power to implement and enforce it worldwide.
We can still stop this! The UN Arms Conference will take place right after Congress passes its next budget. All it takes is one sentence being added to the budget:
"No money or resources may be used to participate in the United Nations' Arms Trade Treaty or its related committees, conferences, meetings, or other events."
If we can force Congress to defund this unconstitutional gun control treaty, we can pull the rug out from under these globalists before they have a chance to strategize a path forward.
With Trump's victory, the United Nations lost the opportunity to expand on Obama's gun control initiatives. But with so many Democrats and liberals left over in the Trump adminstration, they are trying to secretly implement this gun control behind the President's back.
President Trump is preoccupied with managing the response to Hurricane Harvey and there are no more Conservatives in the White House to bring him these new developments.
