Fellow Conservative,

The March for Life is this weekend. Hundreds of thousands of Pro-Life Americans will descend on Washington DC and march in support of the right of the unborn.

Two years ago, it looked like we were poised to make history. While supporters of life gathered around Capitol Hill, Congress was preparing to pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

This legislation essentially would do one basic thing: If an unborn child is able to feel pain, it would be illegal to perform an abortion on him or her.

If a surgeon is performing surgery on an unborn child in-utero, that surgeon is legally and ethically required to administer anesthesia to make sure the patient doesn’t suffer. But a loophole in the law would allow that same doctor to perform an abortion and literally rip an unborn child apart, limb from limb, without any care for the pain it was causing.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act would put an end to that.

In 2015, when it was poised to pass, North Carolina Congresswoman Renee Ellmers led a group of five GOP lawmakers and blocked the bill from moving forward. They literally left hundreds of thousands of people out in the cold waiting for an announcement that never came.

Fast-forward to yesterday. Donald Trump signed an executive order reinstating a ban on federal funds going to international organizations that deal in abortions. Any international organization that participates in the abortion industry in any way will now be barred from receiving taxpayer money. This is a major victory.

The path forward has never been clearer. With control of the Congress, White House, and soon the Supreme Court, the time is now to push through a real Pro-Life agenda!

Don’t let this moment slip away! Send your urgent FaxBlast and DEMAND that Congress pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and protect the unborn!

This legislation is one of the most common-sense bills ever introduced into Congress.

If an unborn child would be able to survive outside the womb, it deserves that opportunity. If an unborn child can feel pain, abortionists should not be allowed to perform dismemberment abortions while the child is still alive.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act would put an end to this practice of late-term abortion.

Except for extremely rare circumstances, abortion after 20 weeks – the point at which the unborn begin to feel pain – would be illegal. This is especially important because medical advancements now technically allow unborn children to survive outside the womb at 21-weeks gestation. Once a child reaches 23-weeks gestation, the odds of surviving outside the womb jump to over 40%.

The unborn deserve this chance.

In truth, 99% of all abortions would be unaffected by this legislation. Almost all abortions are performed before the 20-week mark.

But this is why it matters. This bill will save 27 unborn children every day. Just to put that in perspective, it has been 733 days since the GOP betrayed the Pro-Life movement by shooting down this legislation on the 43rd anniversary of Roe v Wade.

In that time, 19,791 unborn children have been aborted after the 20-week mark. Let that sink in for a second…

Nearly twenty thousand Americans were murdered despite being days away from reaching the point of viability and being able to survive outside the womb.

Those are twenty thousand unborn Americans who were ripped apart, limb from limb, in the womb and were able to feel every second of it.

The cry of a newborn is supposed to be a beautiful sound. But in so many abortion centers around this country, it means something much different… Something so much darker.

Don’t let the GOP stab the Pro-Life movement in the back again! Rise up and DEMAND that Congress pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act!

With Donald Trump’s executive order this week, we finally have a President who is willing to take a Pro-Life stance.

For goodness sake, he stood on a debate state and openly admitted that he planned on appointing judges to the Supreme Court who would overturn Roe v Wade. And then he won.

This is our moment. This is the moment that we have been waiting every day for since January 22, 1973.

Please, don’t let it pass you by.

Don’t let this moment slip away! Send your urgent FaxBlast and DEMAND that Congress pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and protect the unborn!

Sincerely,
