Fellow Conservative,

We have a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving.

In 56 days, Barack Obama's Presidency will be but a memory and Donald Trump will get to work undoing Obama's unconstitutional executive orders and actions.

A lot of people have been asking us what we are going to be do once Trump is inaugurated. The answer is simple: work 24/7 to get the policies we have proposed for the past 8 years implemented at the national level and repeal every executive order and action that is holding America back.

Yesterday, the Michigan Secretary of State finally announced that Donald Trump has won the state by a narrow 10k vote margin. That brings his total in the Electoral College to 306, more electoral votes than any Republican Presidential candidate since the 1980s.

We have a mandate, but with that mandate comes a responsibility to continue holding Congress accountable to the We the People.

The first 100 days are crucial. We need to get as much legislation passed in those first three months as possible and I hope you will continue to stand by us and join us in this fight.

What will we do in the meantime? Well, Sheriff David Clarke said something on Hannity earlier this week that really hit home. Barack Obama is "like a tenant who has been evicted from a property and he's going to trash the place on the way out the door just out of spite."

Between now and Inauguration Day, we are all hands on deck to make sure that Obama doesn't try any funny business. There is already word hitting our desk that the President is planning one final UN resolution to go after Israel. We will likely cover that more in depth tomorrow, but it is important to remember that Obama has plenty of tools left in his arsenal to set this country back...

So that is our plan. Prevent Obama and the Democrats from any 11th Hour regulations and make sure that Congress passes the agenda that We the People voted for. I hope that you will continue to stand by us as we push to Make America Great Again.

Lastly, I want to finally address the picture above. This is a pretty famous photograph of a soldier eating his Thanksgiving meal while on sentry duty in Afghanistan. As we spend tonight and the weekend with family and friends, please remember that there are still American military personnel overseas who are eating their turkey and stuffing on a tray with an M4 by their side. These men and women sacrifice so much for this country and that is never more obvious than around the holidays.

On this Thanksgiving, please keep these military men and women in your prayers.

A very Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours,

Joe Otto and the Conservative Daily team
