Over the past few weeks, news has broke concerning how the Clinton’s grew their fortune by selling access.
Businesses and foreign governments would donate the Clinton Foundation or pay the Clintons for speaking engagements in order to get access at the State Department.
Now, there is a huge push to audit the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation to get to the bottom of whether favors were bought and sold. The Constitution is clear.
Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution – known as the Title of Nobility Clause – prohibits government officials from receiving gifts from foreign governments without Congressional consent. “No Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any king whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.”
Instead of admitting what she has done, Hillary Clinton is actually promising to change the First Amendment when she becomes President to stop Conservatives from donating to campaigns!
We’ve all heard the allegations. A mobile company named Digicel earned a huge contract for disaster relief in Haiti and once the contract was awarded, the company made a multi-million dollar donation to the Clinton Foundation.
You also have Clinton family members being awarded mining contracts in Haiti, even though they were the least qualified for the operation.
There’s also the case of a foreign Uranium mining company funneling money into the Clinton Foundation while the company was negotiating with the State Department for mining permission. Of course the Company got what it wanted. It donated millions of dollars to the Clinton Foundation.
So all across the board, there is a pattern of foreign companies and governments buying favors by donating to the Clinton Foundation. And Bill and Hillary Clinton both personally benefitted by charging outrageous $500,000+ speaking fees to give speeches at these donors’ events.
As I said, the Constitution is clear. No government bureaucrat can receive gifts from foreign states unless Congress gives prior approval. The Clintons raked in millions and millions of dollars from foreign regimes.
And what is Hillary Clinton’s response? She is advocating changing the First Amendment to stop people like the Koch Brothers from donating to political campaigns. No, this is not a joke.
While she stands accused of accepting millions of dollars in bribes, she is pulling a play right out of the Harry Reid playbook and advocating changing the First Amendment.
Enough is enough. Congress needs to drag Hillary in and force her to testify. If she refuses, then the Sergeant-at-Arms needs to arrest her and throw her in jail until she agrees.
That’s the only way to get to the bottom of this. All the evidence suggests that Hillary Clinton violated the Constitution while Secretary of State.
Congress must investigate this and, if necessary, disqualify her from running for President!
But the only way that happens is if you demand it!
Hillary violated the Constitution! Force Congress to investigate and arrest her!
