The United Nations Arms Trade Treaty will introduce international control of firearms to the United States. It will force registration, regulation and ultimately, confiscation of your small arms, completely eliminating your Second Amendment rights.
A bipartisan group of Senators has called this treaty “a deeply flawed” document that “suffers from vagueness.” Yet, Secretary of State John Kerry and President Barack Obama are keen to sign it.
Obama has now indicated he will sign the treaty under the cover of darkness in August, when Americans—and Congress—are on vacation and not paying attention. This is the trick he pulled last year during the presidential elections, when he took the U.S. delegation away from the treaty negotiations, then hours after he was re-elected, he put them back. If you do not see evil as it is happening, you cannot prevent it. That seems to be the m.o. of this administration.
Congress is listening and is prepared to block enforcement. They have received thousands and thousands of faxes from us on this issue. Fax them again and tell them NO to the United Nations Arms Treaty.
ADOPTING THIS TREATY MEANS THE UNITED NATIONS WILL BE IN CONTROL OF OUR SECOND AMENDMENT RIGHTS.
For years, the United Nations has been working on an Arms Trade Treaty (ATT) that would regulate small arms on a global scale. President George W. Bush took the U.S. out of negotiations, because he did not want any involvement in a treaty that would infringe on our Second Amendment rights; but predictably, Barack Obama put us back at the table.
After a few years of meetings, the U.N. General Assembly announced they had signed off on on Times: “The United Nations General Assembly signed off on a “sweeping, first-of-its-kind treaty to regulate the international arms trade.”
Now, the treaty is alive and coming to America. What the liberal anti-gun lobby couldn’t get done through Congress, they are trying to achieve with the help of the United Nations.

Supporters of the treaty and liberal mainstream media organizations roll their eyes at conservative opposition and say it doesn’t target the law-abiding American citizen who is a gun owner. But that is not true. It seeks to regulate the trade of large arms (such as tanks, helicopters and missiles) and also, “Small arms and light weapons,” the definition of which is “weapons designed for individual use, including” but not limited to “revolvers and self-loading pistols, rifles and carbines, sub machine guns, assault rifles and light machine guns.”
That means, YOUR guns. YOUR protection. The liberals just are not going to stop when it comes to disarming you.
The ATT will establish an international bureaucracy that will regulate and strictly control all arms, ammunition and parts. It will:
· Enact tougher licensing requirements, making it almost impossible for you, an individual, to own a firearm
· Require the government to confiscate firearms owned by individuals
· Place further restrictions on the sale of arms
· Create an international gun registry
· Give foreign nations access to your personal data
Fax every single Member of Congress and tell them to refuse this treaty and any other like it that will infringe upon the rights of Americans!
