WHISTLEBLOWERS THREATENED BY OBAMA ADMINISTRATION
On June 28, 2012 Eric Holder became the first sitting U.S. Attorney General to be held in contempt of Congress.
His role in the about the botched Fast and Furious operation that claimed the lives of American border patrol agents was exposed by grassroots activists like you, who demanded the truth; and by Members of Congress who knew the right thing to do was to hold him accountable.
But, Holder is still being protected by the Obama administration. And it seems that those who want answers are being hounded and attacked.
Quite the opposite of what a transparent and moral administration should be doing, right?

Upset over the White House’s refusal to turn over documents and abandon Holder over his criminal behavior, student activists gathered outside the White House to let the Obama administration know they would be held accountable for their actions.But, the Secret Service was summoned, and the protestors were cleared out.
Obama didn’t like their message.
And now, a video message to ATF employees by Acting Director B. Todd Jones warns employees they will face "consequences" if they don't "respect the chain of command." Jones says:
"Choices and consequences means simply that if you make poor choices, that if you don't abide by the rules, that if you don't respect the chain of command, if you don't find the appropriate way to raise your concerns to your leadership, there will be consequences, because we cannot tolerate -- we cannot tolerate -- an undisciplined organization," Jones said.
The most transparent administration in history? Perhaps, but not because they are open and honest with the American people about their actions.
No, the Obama administration is open in saying to anyone who doesn’t agree with them, BE QUIET … OR ELSE.

And, Join the Conversation on FacebookSen. Charles Grassley, (R-IA) and Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA) sent a letter to Jones urging him to clarify his message, saying employees must be able to speak to Congress "free and clear of agency interference or retaliation."
"Your ominous message -- which could be interpreted as a threat -- is likely to have a major chilling effect on ATF employees exercising their rights to contact Congress," their letter states.
Not that we expect it to make much of a difference.
The Obama administration shrugs off criticism and transparency; and if they do get wind of anyone who disagrees with them, they simply shut them down—like they did the protestors.
Just hours after Holder was held in contempt, the so-called “Justice” Department sprang to his aid.
There would be no criminal charges filed, they said. No grand jury convened. No indictments. No legal consequences whatsoever.
In short, the Justice Department shrugged its shoulders at Congress and said, “You’ve had you’re fun. Now what?”
Now come the attacks on those who simply want the truth.
“It’s about racism,” screeched Frederica Wilson, a Democrat Representative from Florida.
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said: “Instead of focusing on jobs, House Republicans are pursuing a political witch hunt against the Obama administration and Attorney General Eric Holder.”
White House Communications Director Dan Pfeiffer called the contempt vote a “political sideshow” over a sting operation “everyone already acknowledges went wrong.”
And White House Chief of Staff Jack Lew told CNN, amazingly without cracking a grin, “This administration has been the most transparent ever.”

You know the mainstream media is not going to hold Obama or his Justice Department accountable.YOU are going to have to do it. Just as you rallied to ensure Congress would hold a contempt vote and push the White House for information, you are going to have to come together again, in a grassroots effort, to STOP Obama and his cronies from continuing to hide information and threaten those who want to expose it.
YOU are going to have to demand Obama’s White House actually become transparent and accountable … AND, out of a job in November!

It remains to be seen if the DoJ has complied, but history shows it is likely they didn't.
There is one action we can take. House H. Res. 490 is in play, which is a resolution expressing the official sense of Congress that it has lost confidence in the Attorney General.
H. Res. 490 contains no actual legal sanctions, so you may think it’s an empty gesture—but it’s not.
Democratic solidarity is crumbling in an election year. 17 Democrats voted to find Holder in contempt, and doing so hasn’t hurt their election chances at all. On the contrary, they have accounted for ROUGHLY ONE IN NINE OF CAMPAIGN DOLLARS expended by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee over the past few years.
That’s mainly because they are in swing districts, to be sure, but it is proof positive that the Democrat machine does not consider being on record against Holder an impediment.
It gets worse for Obama when you consider that 7 of the 17 have refused to commit to even attending the Democratic National Convention, and one has said he can’t endorse Obama at all.
Thus, keeping up the pressure on Holder keeps the pressure on Obama. The more rats desert the ship, the shakier his position to continue to protect Holder, and the greater the chances that his leadership will implode before the elections.
Our best vehicle for that pressure right now is H. Res. 490. Even Democrats have cosponsored the resolution! There are now a full 114 cosponsors.

The Obama administration is betting that cries of “witch hunt” will be enough to smooth the rocks until after November.They’re betting cries of “racism,” along with Holder standing his ground and refusing to turn over information, will shut up those who seek justice.
And if that doesn’t shut you up—Obama will.
The mainstream media is helping him, of course. They’re downplaying this as much as they can. They literally HAVE to report what happened, but they don’t have to make it their top story, even though such an historic act—the only sitting United States Attorney General to ever be held in criminal contempt of Congress—should be a no-brainer as a lead story.
But, it’s not. And even protestors can’t voice their opinions, because the Secret Service shuts them down.
