Late Tuesday night, a Federal Judge ruled that Obama administration lawyers engaged in “misconduct” by lying to the court and claiming that Obama’s amnesty had not yet been implemented.
The Department of Justice stood before District Judge Andrew Hanen weeks ago and testified under oath that Barack Obama’s latest illegal alien amnesty program (DAPA) was not being put into effect yet.
No sooner had they left the courthouse, it was revealed that this was a complete lie. The administration had already processed one hundred THOUSAND of these applications.
So, the Judge demanded that the DOJ return to explain themselves and the administration had the gall to ask the Judge to lift his injunction. He refused.
Right now, we are just days away from the Fifth Circuit Court ruling on Obama’s amnesty executive actions.
When Republicans had the opportunity to defund the amnesty bureaucracy earlier this year, the GOP said it wasn’t necessary because Judge Hanen had placed an injunction against it.
These RINOs then proceeded to completely fund the Department of Homeland Security.
Well, guess what. If the 5th Circuit Court overturns District Judge Hanen’s ruling, then the President’s amnesty bureaucracy begins processing more applications immediately!
The Department of (in)Justice is using every judicial maneuver to overturn this ruling. We cannot afford to leave this up to a group of unelected judges. Congress must fulfill its promise and put a stop to Obama’s amnesty now!
So here’s the deal: The Obama administration has already started processing 100k new amnesty applications. If Judge Hanen’s injunction falls, then these 100,000 illegal aliens receive their legalization paperwork and countless other applications will be processed as well.
The Obama administration lied when it said that no applications were processed yet and Homeland Security has continued hiring contractors to process these applications in clear defiance to the judge’s orders.
The President has essentially done two things: He has decided to selectively enforce immigration law by suspending deportations and he has decided to bestow benefits to criminals who continue to violate our country's immigration laws. He doesn't have the Constitutional authority to do either of these!
I’m not going to sugar coat it… the GOP caved last month. They caved under the pressure and gave in to the Left’s demands. They funded the amnesty program, but told us that their surrender was irrelevant because of the Judge’s injunction.
Well, something else happened on Tuesday: another court issued a ruling on Obama’s amnesty.
The 5th Circuit Court of Appeals, in a separate case, ruled that Mississippi didn’t have grounds to sue the administration because they never “alleged a sufficiently concrete and particularized injury that would give Plaintiffs standing.”
Now, this was a lawsuit against Obama’s 2012 amnesty executive action, so it does not apply to the most recent lawsuit against Obama’s 2014 amnesty expansion.
But this is the same appeals court that will hear the Obama administration’s amnesty appeal in a few days and they will be asked to decide the same question: Do Texas and other states have standing to sue the Obama administration.
They’ve already ruled that Mississippi doesn’t have standing on an almost identical issue… So, let me ask you…
Do you have any faith that the Judicial System will hold Obama accountable? I certainly don’t.
Right now, we stand just days away from losing this country; Days away from the complete destruction of our Republic. If Obama’s amnesty is allowed to go into effect, it is game over.
So no, I will not count on the 5th Circuit Court to defend us. They just proved that by supporting Obama’s 2012 amnesty. If left unchecked, they will do the same for the most recent amnesty expansion!
You must FaxBlast Congress and demand that this amnesty program be dismantled completely. They said they would if the court battle failed. We cannot afford to wait for that!
