Earlier this week, news broke that a young girl in Tennessee was suspended for responding to a classmate’s sneeze with the words “Bless You.” The teacher had explicitly banned “Godly phrases” from her classroom.
Now we have learned that 16-year old Alex Stone, a Summerville High School student in South Carolina, was suspended and arrested for writing a fictional short story/writing prompt about how he was going to buy a gun to “take care of business” and kill his neighbor’s pet Dinosaur.
Despite the fact that Alex is far too young to buy a gun and the obvious fact that Dinosaurs are extinct and no longer exist, the boy’s teacher took one look at the writing and immediately called the authorities.
Police soon arrived at the school and arrested Alex Stone for ‘disorderly conduct.’
What exactly is ‘disorderly’ about writing a fictional story about shooting non-existent Dinosaurs? Eyewitnesses say that Alex was booked on a ‘disorderly conduct’ charge after he became agitated as he was being taken into custody. Wouldn’t you be upset? Why was Alex Stone suspended and arrested for including firearms in a short writing prompt? Because our school systems have gotten out of control and instead of actually dealing with the violence, they are punishing kids for doing absolutely nothing!
Last year, there was the story of a child who was suspended for biting his Pop Tart in the shape of a gun. There are countless stories of children being suspended for playing ‘cops and robbers’ and using their fingers as guns.
This madness has to stop! It is liberal indoctrination, plain and simple.
I don’t want to live in a world where the laws mandate that children who write short stories about shooting nonexistent Dinosaurs be punished! I don’t want to live in a world where educators are conditioning students to believe that merely mentioning a gun in a fictional story is illegal!
They arrested this boy. Not only did they suspend him for doing absolutely nothing wrong, the police were called to the school and arrested him for disorderly conduct!
We have school districts that have suspended students for wearing American flag shirts because it offends Hispanics… We have schools that have suspended students for wearing NRA shirts… Now, we have a story of a kid being arrested for writing a story about killing a dinosaur.
What is wrong with this country? I know I say that a lot, but that’s a pretty important question!
When did we transform from a country that teaches gun safety and marksmanship in schools to one that treats guns like the boogeyman, arresting kids for merely mentioning a gun? When did this country become so wussified that this became a regular occurrence?
This isn’t about just one school that is out of control. This is what the entire country is like, trying to reeducate our children to hate the principles enshrined in the constitution by the founding fathers.
And I regret to inform you that these liberal re-educators are winning. They are succeeding in reconditioning our children to accept their twisted belief system and world-view. Alex Stone was suspended and arrested on the second day of school because he used his imagination to complete a writing prompt about shooting and killing Dinosaurs. Kendra Turner was suspended this same week when she broke her teacher’s rule and said a so-called godly phrase – “Bless You” – in her class when another student sneezed.
This nonsense is happening every day all across the country and it must be STOPPED. Liberal educators are trying to change the way the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights are taught… they are punishing children for expressing their constitutional rights… and they are ARRESTING students for simply writing a short story about a gun.
Enough is enough. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a thousand times. The future of our country is being decided in our school systems and it is up to us to fight and put a stop the liberal re-education attempts being forced down our children’s throats!
